In association with the Ottawa Trauma and Anxiety Clinic, the Milton H Erickson Institute offers training in English.

Again this year, in association with Laval University, the Milton H Erickson Institute offers training in French in Montreal and Quebec City.

Location and Schedule

This Summer our institute collaborated with the Milton H. Erickson in Bulgaria. Dr. Liliana Cané gave two workshops for our colleagues in Bulgaria one in Turnouvo and one in Sofia. It was a pleasure to meet young enthusiastic colleagues in Bulgaria. Especial thanks to Jenia Giorgieva and Roumen for their warm reception and the visits to beautiful places in Bulgaria.

This year, our Institute will collaborate with the haematology-oncology department of this paediatric hospital. We will be training the clinical team of nurses, physicians and other health care professionals in clinical hypnosis for the management of acute and chronic pain. The program starts in September 2007 and will run for two and a half years. A research project in collaboration with the University of Montreal will evaluate the impact of this program.

This year is the third consecutive year in which our Institute collaborates with the Continuing Education program of University Laval. This program is open to clinicians in the health services who are interested in learning Ericksonian Hypnosis to integrate in their practice. The training is open both in Montreal and Quebec City.
